The Guided Reading Workshops are designed to help teachers in grades K–2 and grades 3–6 lead their students toward becoming independent, strategic readers. During these workshops teachers will learn how Guided Reading can improve student reading and raise achievement. They will learn how to group students according to instructional level, how to match readers to books, flexible grouping strategies, the process for small group instruction, and classroom management techniques.
